I was born & raised in Worland, Wyoming & grew up in a house my Grandfather built. I took piano lessons from the same lady my mom had when she was young, enjoyed our family cabin in The Big Horn Mountains & spent a lot of quality time w/family, animals & nature. My father grew up in California where I spent time visiting family, palm trees, the ocean & falling in love with California each visit. My name Darby is a family name that has been traced back almost 400 years in my family & it literally means Free Man. I like to think of it in terms of Free Wo-Man & will continue to honor the spirit & essence of it & live it in the name of freedom & love! My first fascination w/the body & it's anatomy began at age 4 when helping my dad skin deer & birds & having just about every kind of wild game in our freezer. My career started as an Athletic Trainer in High School & then attending Crystal Mountain Apprenticeship in the Healing Arts in Albuquerque, NM in 1997. In 2002 I attended The Academy of Cosmetology in Bozeman, MT & then finished my training at The Vogue Beauty School in Idaho Falls, ID in 2003. I spent 10 years in Jackson, Wyoming where I owned a Day Spa, Salon and Boutique called Body Essence. I closed the Jackson location down in 2009 & moved to San Francisco. Then, reopened Body Essence in 2014 in beautiful downtown Nevada City, CA.
I've been a musician my entire life & thoroughly enjoy the industry! Performance art, fire dancing, hooping, roller skating, snowboarding, cross country skiing, hiking, biking, cooking, crafting, traveling & festivals have played a major role in my life. Peace Love Happiness is my motto! Love your body....it's your temple!
My mission is to continue working hard & spreading love all over the universe. Educating myself & others along the way & never losing faith in the world, people, places, things & ideas. Helping people & animals feel better & look brighter fills my heart with joy! I am so grateful for all the experiences & amazing friends, family, clients & animals that have supported me through my practice & Body Essence! Thank You! -Darby Palmer

My name is Tina Marie Kelley. I graduated from the Federico Beauty Institute in Sacramento, CA. I'm a Licensed Esthetician and am certified in microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion is great for all skin types. Microdermabrasion is a noninvasive, skin resurfacing procedure that gently exfoliates or polishes away the top layer of dead skin cells, while stimulating collagen growth, to reveal healthy new skin that looks and feels smoother. Fine lines, blemishes, dull skin, and sun spots can be improved with regular treatments. You notice instant results just after the first treatment. Your skin regenerates every 30 days, so it's good to get a microdermabrasion at least once a month for the best results. Depending on your skin needs, it's best to do a series of 4-6 treatments, and to maintain treatments as your skin needs. Products such as toners, moisturizers, and creams are more easily absorbed and therefore more effective after a microdermabrasion treatment. This is a painless, low-risk skin treatment that can be added to your beauty routine. After receiving a microdermabrasion treatment, you will not need any downtime. All you have to do follow two very simple guidelines: No direct sunlight for 24-48 hours, and no makeup on the face that is not non-comedogenic for 24-48 hours. Get on a skin routine of microdermabrasion treatments, and it will improve your appearance of scars, wrinkles, and skin spots.

“My interest in massage and bodywork began as a high school and college cross-country runner. Reiki and deep tissue massage were our family’s first option for healthcare, and I saw the power but didn’t consider massage as a career for myself. After college, I worked as an investment banker, a Montessori teacher, and a private-school fundraiser. Unsatisfied with my trajectory, I reached an impasse in life and paused to regroup. A dear friend suggested we go get massages to “take my mind off it.” During that massage my nervous system relaxed, my body and mind quieted, I surrendered to the moment. By the time the massage was over, I’d decided that my purpose in life was to give back to others the gift I’d just received. I signed up for massage school that day!
